Tour in brief

Meet the Eco Team representative and your cycling guide at Eco Team Head office, for initial briefing including familiarisation of the bikes.

• Visit the Dutch Museum, built in the late 17th century, now restored with plush boutiques and restaurants.

• Explore the Neo-Baroque styled Old Parliament building which overlooks the Indian Ocean, built during the British era.

• Enjoy freshly cut pineapple at Galle Face Green.

• Visit a typical Sri Lankan home.

• Receive blessings at a Hindu Kovil.

• The Colombo city cycle tour covers several additional historical and cultural sites such as: the Railway Museum, Old Law Court, Kathiresan Kovil and the Jamia-ul-Alfar Mosque (also known as the Red Mosque).

• Other sites include: Fort Railway Station, Galle Face Green, a beautiful Buddhist temple, Green Path Art Gallery, Colombo Museum, the Planetarium and the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH).

You will experience Colombo in a more intimate manner.

Our guide will be at hand to give you additional information, anecdotes and interesting fact bites of the places you will see.
