• This is a super morning workout. It’s a better challenge to working on a treadmill.

Tour in brief

Meet your guide at Eco Team Head Office in Colombo and begin riding.

Cycle past the Diyawanna Oya, a habitat for lowland birds and a hotspot for bird-watching.

Visit a local Buddhist temple to observe its rituals.

Next, head to the Talangama wetlands, home to over a hundred species of birds, butterflies, dragonflies and a few mammals.

Break tour for snack and drinks, before heading back.

• Clients are advised to bring suitable clothing for warm, windy and rainy conditions

• Insect repellent and sun lotion are recommended items to carry

• Lightweight clothes and biking shoes/boots should be worn on the ride

• Water bottles and refreshments should be carried at all times by clients
